Paraíso de Goiás, Chapada dos Veadeiros' main county, is located at the intersection of routes GO-118 and GO-327.
It is considered the Goiás State sanctuary of
mysticism, esoterism, and spiritualism. Also crossed by parallel 14, as Machu
Pichu, in
Peru, it has fantastic stories about flying saucers and extraterrestrial
beings.
Besides
esoterism, the city is also ideal for eco-tourism, since its community has a very developed ecological
awareness. Nature is exuberant, and many attractions can be explored, as
waterfalls, valleys, mountains, farms.
In several places, access is possible by car only to a certain extent, and it is necessary
to hike trails from 300 meters to 10 kilometers, all of them known for their beauty and
magic.
The city's infrastructure targets to
tourism,
offering many choices of "pousadas', hotels, ranch-style hotels,
restaurants, bars, pizzerias, artifact shops and Tourist Office where you can hire tour
guides.
The airport is also nearby and offers one of the
region's nicest sunsets.
